I have suffered from the pain of a bulging disc in my neck for at least four years. I have tried over the counter pain medicine, physical therapy, and steroid injections. The steroid injections gave me relief, but only for a short period of time. The thought of continuing to put steroids into my body really scared me. I was at a really low point when I believe I was led to Dr. Polson through Divine intervention. I was reading the newspaper one morning and one of his yellow flyers fell onto my lap. I read the whole paper and knew right then that his practice was where I needed to be. I had contemplated going to a Chiropractor before, but I always backed out. I had prayed so many times for God to bring me some relief from this awful debilitating pain. I truly believe in my heart that he sent me to Dr. Polson! I am now free of all pain and haven’t had to take any medication since beginning my chiropractic adjustments.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Polson for a few months now. Through his adjustments, God’s grace and my faith, I am now able to sleep; work, live and even look up with little to no pain. Before I started my adjustments my hips burned constantly. When I walked, sat and mostly when I would lie on the bed, in any position, to try to sleep. My neck would grind and crackle when I would move it. I couldn’t look straight up without bowing my back. I had a constant dull ached in my head that no amount of Advil could touch.All of this 90% gone! Now here’s the part that will surprise you! On Monday August 28th, 2006 I ate some bad ham, by 9pm it hit me. I was in the bathroom for 1 ½ hours. I couldn’t go to work the next day, but I did go to Dr. Polson’s. He did some kind of adjustment on my abdomen. It hurt! By the time I got to my car it was gone, the cramping stopped! On September 2, 2006, I slid on my porch went down in a half split. It twisted my knee wrong. By the 5th I could hardly walk on it. Dr. Polson adjusted it and it hurt too. That afternoon it was down 50%. God is working miracles of all sizes through Dr. Polson. Before Dr. Polson, I thought “Suck it up, Sherie and move on.” I was sucking it up until God brought Dr. Polson and I together at Wal-Mart.Yes Wal-Mart of all places. Goes to show you if you won’t come to God, he will come to Wal-Mart and get you!

Dr. Mike Polson is not just a good Chiropractor, he is a great chiropractor and an even greater human being. Before I moved to Arlington, Texas in 2001, I had Chiropractic adjustments off and on for about 30 years in Oklahoma. Two of those Chiropractors were what I would categorize as top-notch, so I have some basis for comparison.

I met Dr. Polson’s beautiful wife, Susan, in a play at church and she led me to Dr. Polson. Having tried unsuccessfully to control my blood pressure with pharmaceuticals, I realized I was headed down the wrong path and decided to return to Chiropractic which had helped me before with none of the negative side effects of pharmaceuticals. I was impressed that Dr. Polson sees God as the Healer and himself as a servant. Furthermore, Dr. Polson sees me as a co-worker focused on the same mission of working toward lifelong health and wellness. He and Susan are committed to providing people in the community with affordable treatments. They are also committed to serving the community through charitable activities throughout the year.

Not only has my blood pressure decreased dramatically, but my energy level has continued to increase every year. I have been delighted with the weight I have lost – about 80 pounds so far. Now as a septuagenarian, I am walking every day, eating better than I ever have, and feeling more like a 40-year-old.

More than just a Chiropractor, Dr. Polson is a life coach, a great role model, and a good friend. I admire his sharp mind, his holistic approach to wellness, his giving nature, and his sense of humor. I love that he puts God first in his life, his family a close second, and the rest of humanity a close third. It is refreshing to see someone whose career is, in fact, a true ministry.

This year as I prepare to move to Florida, I deeply regret having to say goodbye to Susan and Mike Polson, even though they have already volunteered to help me find another Chiropractor there. Those who remain in the Mansfield area are fortunate to have Polson Family Chiropractic nearby.

Over the years, I have sustained several injuries to my back, neck, and hips. Almost a year ago, I was playing on the floor with my new granddaughter, when I went to get up – and could not. I realized right then that I wanted to be able to play with my granddaughter and grandsons without having to have assistance doing so. I also wanted to be free of the pain that I had off and on.

I had sought chiropractic care in the past and had a lot of success. Therefore, I felt that if I sought care again and made a commitment to a treatment plan, then hopefully, I would be able to be pain-free and mobile for many years to come.

Dr. Polson began by sitting and discussing my previous injuries and if I was committed to my care. I started a treatment plan about 10 months ago and it has made a world of difference. I can walk and bend down, get down on the floor and play with my granddaughter – and get up, without assistance!!

I intend to continue my treatment plan for many years to come; Dr. Polson has truly changed my life.
